The Excavation is a building found within the Graveyard. Assigned Minions will explore the ancient burial ground and have a 50% chance to find a random body part after each victory, except for quest battles. The chance to find a random part decreases with increasing difficulty levels with a 50% chance being the amount for the Cakewalk difficulty.
The Excavation is unlocked by sacrificing a Skeleton and 25 Diggers' Souls. Extra minion slots can be unlocked by sacrificing a Zombie, a Bone Golem, and a Ghoul. You can sacrifice these minions in any order, and it will cost 50 Souls for the second upgrade, 100 Souls for the third, and 200 Souls for the fourth and final upgrade.
